Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
LPNs here at DNSA are skilled to provide basic nursing functions far more complex than that of a Nursing Aide but much simpler that an RNs role. They give doctors and RNs the support they need to supervise the care and treatment of a patient. The following are some of the task of our LPNs:
- Observing and monitoring patients
- Ensuring the comfort of patients
- Giving basic care to the patient
- Communicate and report to RNs or doctors
- Checking vital signs of the patient
- Keeping and maintaining patients record
